People are living longer! We are an ageing population, it's a statistical fact! Babies born today will on average live to be 80 and 10 million people in the UK currently are over 65 years old, and yet, despite all the great work by organisations such as Older People's Day, the insurance world gets all in a panic if you aren't as young as you once were and you want to actually GO somewhere, just like you've always done, all your life.

Families now live all around the world, and it's a much smaller world than ever before. The Internet is amazing and allows us to keep in touch with our relatives, but grandchildren 4,000 miles away need a hug, not just face time from their Silver Surfing Granny.

Being older shouldn't prevent you from moving where and when you want. Older people have gained experience and wisdom that certainly allows them to avoid silly accidents that may happen to younger, less experienced travellers.
