"Meadowside is a purpose built residential home; opened in 2005 it is one of the most up-to-date care homes in the London Borough of Barnet. The home's 68 residential rooms are bright, spacious, well furnished and have en suite facilities. Rooms are grouped in six community orientated flats each with its own lounge, dining room and small kitchen, to aid and promote a family atmosphere. Two flats are dedicated to specialist dementia care. There are also various community spaces, such as the garden lounge. The garden is well furnished for outdoor relaxation and activities; there is also a large balcony for residents' use at the front of the building, overlooking the car park and road so residents can watch all the comings and goings."
